How do you lift 40,000 pounds off the ground?

Writer: Paul de RosenrollPaul de Rosenroll

At 42Tech, when confronted with the need for safer and more efficient methods for working on our 40,000+ pound modular home sections, we sought alternatives to traditional forklifts. My partner, Paul Derosenroll, and I brainstormed tirelessly for an alternative that would be heavy-duty enough for our unique task. Then it came to us…

Drawing from the robust lifting mechanisms used in the assembly of buses, we conceptualized the use of the Earth Lift for our homes. This ingenious system not only streamlines our assembly process but also sets a new standard for safety and efficiency in modular construction.

So, what does the Earth Lift do for us?

Side-Lifting Capability: Unlike traditional forklifts that lift from the ends, the Earth Lift's design allows for side-lifting. This innovative approach minimizes stress on the modular structures during transportation, ensuring they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.

Synchronized Operation: Equipped with dual arms and Wi-Fi connectivity, each Earth Lift unit works in perfect harmony, enabling synchronized lifting for a consistent and uniform elevation.

Safety Features: At 42tech, safety is paramount. That's why the Earth Lift is engineered with a mechanical lockout mechanism, allowing our team to lift structures up to 70 inches high and securely lock them in place. This feature not only protects our workers but also enhances the overall safety of our construction sites.

At 42tech Modular, we're not just building homes – we're revolutionizing an industry. Join us on our journey as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in modular construction.
